How does the Outreach New Mover Program work?

Every month, Outreach gathers a list of new movers in your selected area. We print and mail personalized invitation postcards directly to these new neighbors on your behalf, welcoming them to your church and inviting them to visit. It’s an effortless, turnkey outreach solution—we handle the design, printing, addressing, and mailing, while you focus on ministry.

What makes this program different?

Unlike other new mover programs, Outreach gives you full control over your mailing area before you sign up. Plus, your postcards can be personalized with the recipient’s name at no extra cost—a feature most companies don’t offer. We also provide a monthly follow-up list so you can continue engaging with new movers beyond the initial postcard.

Why should my church reach new movers?

Every year, 12+ million families move to a new home. Many are looking to connect in their new community—this is a key moment when they’re open to visiting a new church. Life transitions like marriage, divorce, new babies, or moving away from family often make people more receptive to spiritual conversations. This program ensures your church is the first to welcome them.

How much does it cost?

If your church has a non-profit postal permit, each postcard costs just 79¢, including printing, addressing, and mailing. If you don’t have a non-profit permit, the cost is 99¢ per card. There’s also a one-time setup fee of $79.95.

Can I limit how many postcards are sent each month?

Yes! You can set a limit, but we recommend sending at least 50 postcards per month to see results.

Where do the mailing lists come from?

We source data from trusted providers who use property records, utility hookups, and change-of-address data to compile the most accurate list of new movers.

When are postcards mailed?

New mover postcards are mailed at the end of each month. If you choose MultiReach, a second mailing is sent two weeks later to boost response rates.

How soon should I expect visitors after mailing?

Some visitors may come right away, while others may take time. Studies show people need multiple connections (up to 7 touchpoints) before they respond. Keep engaging them through social media, events, and additional invitations for the best results.

Can I change my postcard design?

Absolutely! You can update your design for $29.95 per change. Switching to a non-New Mover design is $59.00. Design changes must be submitted by the 7th of the month.

How do I know who received my postcards?

Each month, you’ll receive an email report with an Excel file listing every new mover who received a postcard, so you can follow up personally.

How is payment handled?

Payments are automatic and charged to your credit card around the 24th of each month. We do not offer invoicing or billing at this time.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes! There are no contracts or long-term commitments. If another new mover program performs better for your church, we’ll refund your $79.95 setup fee if you’ve used our service for at least 4 months.

Do you offer Spanish-language postcards?

Yes! Any of our New Mover Postcards can be customized with Spanish text. Just provide the translated content when placing your order. However, all postcards will be in Spanish for your selected mailing area, regardless of the recipient’s language preference.

Can I submit my own design for New Mover?

Please contact our team if you’d like to submit your own artwork. We can review your design and let you know if it meets postal requirements and formatting guidelines.
